Mandarin: Buffet
Mandarin is a known buffet that also happens to be loved by many (including myself). For as long as I can remember, I have never had a negative thing to say concerning the food. I must admit, sometimes the noodles and chicken can be a bit oily, for instance a few days ago when I went with my family for lunch, but that's not a huge issue for me (I still love them 😊). I constantly find myself coming back and craving for more. After all, whenever I hear the word "restaurant" I think of one of the two places, either Mandarin or 168 Sushi. What can I say, I LOVE asian food! ♡♡♡
Mandarin does an excellent job with their overall cleanliness, which is and should be a huge factor in each and every restaurant. If I walk in a restaurant and see large messes in the dining room or anywhere visible, I instantly have negative thoughts, which ruins my experience right away. God knows how terrible the kitchen must look if the staff can't keep the restaurant clean, it's not rocket science. Thankfully, Mandarin doesn't have that problem. As mentioned in my last blog post, it's a tad annoying having to shuffle around large crowds of people, waiting in lines in order to get the food you want, as well as walking all the way back to your section and table. Unfortunately, this inconvenience is present at all Mandarin locations. However, it's worth it considering the fact that I get multiple plates of just sushi alone, it's SO good that I honestly can't get enough! Due to that reason, I must say that Mandarin is my major go to place when a birthday is around the corner, involving both friends and/or family. Overall, I give Mandarin an 8.5/10.
