El Mariachi: Tacos and Churros

Tucked away in the "Village in the city" , aka Streetsville, hides El Mariachi, a small cantina style restaurant boasting authentic Mexican cuisine and tequila. El Mariachi completely disproves the idea that "size matters", featuring a bar and seating area that's comparable in size to that of a Toronto apartment it is most definitely a surprising experience. The staff at El Mariachi were very inviting and make patrons feel at home as soon as they walk through the door, and happily brought us to a table without any wait whatsoever. Both my girlfriend and I opted for the burritos and were blown away, they were at our table in under 15 minutes and were prepared to perfection, in fact it was such a wonderful experience that we had to make a return trip just to see if the rest of the menu lived up to expectations. On our return visit we once again ended up getting the same thing, however this time we tried the chimichangas and were equally blown away by the staff and food. El Mariachi is well deserving of another visit and has inevitably become our go-to restaurant whenever we're in Streetsville.
